What Are Reading Plans?
Reading plans are structured Bible reading schedules that guide you through a selection of Scripture passages over a set period of time. Each plan has a specific theme or book of the Bible it focuses on, and the readings are broken into daily portions designed to be manageable and meaningful.
How Scheduling Works
Reading plans follow a Monday through Friday schedule. Weekends are built-in rest days — no readings are assigned on Saturday or Sunday. This gives you flexibility to catch up, review, or simply rest. Each weekday you'll have one reading assignment consisting of a Bible passage to read.
Streaks
The platform tracks your reading streak — the number of consecutive scheduled days you've completed your reading. Streaks are a motivational tool to help build consistent habits:
- Complete your reading on a scheduled day to maintain your streak
- Missing a day resets your streak to zero
- Weekend days don't affect your streak (they're not scheduled days)
- Streak milestones (7 days, 30 days, 90 days) earn badges
Choosing a Reading Plan
Browse available reading plans from the Reading Plans section on your dashboard. Each plan shows:
- The title and description
- Number of days and estimated duration
- The book(s) or theme covered
- How many other people are currently following the plan
Pick a plan that matches your interests and time commitment. You can follow one reading plan at a time or multiple plans simultaneously.
