Your Profile
Your profile is how others on the platform see you. A complete profile helps leaders and group members know who you are and creates a better community experience.
Profile Basics
- Display name — your first and last name as you'd like them displayed.
- Profile photo — upload a clear photo of yourself. This appears in group discussions, leader dashboards, and your public profile.
- Bio — a brief description of yourself, your church, or your faith journey. This is optional but encouraged.
Timezone Setting
Setting your correct timezone ensures that reading plan schedules, session dates, and notifications arrive at the right time. You can update your timezone from the profile settings page. The platform will auto-detect your timezone on first login, but you can change it anytime.
Notification Preferences
Control how and when you receive notifications:
- Email notifications — receive emails for course assignments, group invitations, reading plan reminders, and badge achievements.
- Reading plan reminders — get daily reminders to complete your Bible reading.
- Course updates — be notified when new sessions are available or when a leader provides feedback.
You can adjust these settings anytime from your account preferences. We recommend keeping reading plan reminders on to help build a consistent habit.
Privacy
Your email address is never shared publicly. Course responses and reflections are only visible to your assigned leaders, not to other participants (unless you're in a group discussion setting).
