What Are Organizations?
Organizations on MKDSCPLS represent churches, ministries, and other groups that use the platform for discipleship. When you join an organization, you get access to group courses, leader-assigned reading plans, and community features specific to that church or ministry.
How to Join
There are several ways to join an organization:
- Invitation link — your church leader or org admin may send you a direct invitation link. Click the link and follow the prompts to join.
- Join code — some organizations provide a join code. Enter it on your dashboard to connect with the organization.
- Browse discoverable orgs — organizations that have enabled public discovery can be found by searching. Look for the "Join an Organization" option on your dashboard.
What Happens After Joining
Once you join an organization:
- You'll appear in the organization's member list
- Leaders can assign you to groups, courses, and reading plans
- You may see organization-specific content on your dashboard
- Your course completions and progress may be visible to your leaders (for accountability and encouragement)
Multiple Organizations
You can belong to more than one organization. For example, you might be part of your local church and also a parachurch ministry. Your dashboard will show content from all your organizations.
Leaving an Organization
If you need to leave an organization, you can do so from your account settings. Your personal course progress and badges are always yours and won't be affected by leaving an organization.
