Following a Reading Plan

How to do your daily reading, mark it complete, and catch up if you fall behind.

Your Daily Reading

Each weekday, your reading plan provides a Scripture passage to read. You can access today's reading from:

Reading the Passage

Click on today's reading to open the Scripture passage. The text is displayed directly on the platform in your preferred Bible translation. You can read at your own pace and take as much time as you need.

Marking Complete (it's automatic)

You don't have to tap anything. When you scroll to the bottom of the day's passage, your reading is marked complete for you — your progress bar fills in, your streak updates, and you'll see a "Day complete" confirmation. Just read to the end and it saves itself.

Prefer to mark it yourself? You can still click the "Mark Complete" button. Tapping a day that's already complete lets you un-mark it (we'll ask you to confirm first, so an accidental tap won't erase your progress).

Catching Up

Life happens, and you may miss a day or two. You can go back and complete missed readings at any time:

Note that catching up on missed days won't restore a broken streak, but it does help you stay on track with the overall plan and ensures you don't miss any content.

Tracking Progress

Your reading plan shows a progress bar indicating how far along you are. You can see:

Consistency is more important than speed. Even reading one passage a day adds up to significant time in God's Word over weeks and months.
