Accessing Account Settings
You can access your account settings from the sidebar menu. Click your profile name or avatar, then select Settings (or Account). From here you can manage all aspects of your account.
Password
To change your password:
- Go to Account Settings
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password for verification
- Enter and confirm your new password
- Click Save
Choose a strong password with at least 8 characters, including a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset it via email.
Email Address
Your email address is used for login and all platform communications. To update it:
- Go to Account Settings and find the email field
- Enter your new email address
- You may need to verify the new address via a confirmation email
Notification Preferences
Control what emails you receive from MKDSCPLS:
- Course notifications — new session availability, enrollment confirmations, leader feedback
- Reading plan reminders — daily reading reminders to maintain your streak
- Badge notifications — alerts when you earn a new badge
- Group notifications — group invitations, new assignments
- Organization updates — announcements from your organization admin
You can toggle each notification type on or off independently. We recommend keeping reading plan reminders enabled to help build consistent Bible reading habits.
Deleting Your Account
If you need to delete your account, contact your organization admin or platform support. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your course progress, badges, and reflections will be removed.
